I ordered red velvet cupcakes with buttercream frosting last week and they were delicious! My son has severe allergies, so I discussed them with Bryia and she delivered! Where are you located?Our home-based bakery is located in the Central Texas area. You can find us at local vender events and farmer's markets in the tri-city area (Killeen-Copperas Cove-Harker Heights) during the market season between May and December. If you miss us at events, you can always place an order for your favorite treats with us!

What constitutes a custom order?A custom order allows you to get exactly what you want built around your taste, theme, and party size. We take the time to plan a beautiful dessert scape that is sure to leave a lasting memory on your guests. This includes fondant work, cake toppers, and intricate designs. Time, quality ingredients, custom details, and overhead expenses add up to one delicious dessert. When you factor everything that goes into a custom cake, you'll see that a little price tag is worth splurging on every once in a while!

Do you offer wedding cakes?Yes we do! We pride ourselves on the exclusive experience we offer throughout our wedding services. To learn more, you can visit our weddings page here.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?Absolutely! We can create delicious masterpieces that accommodate vegan and gluten free dietary needs. Unfortunately, we do not offer sugar free products.

How far in advance does an order need to be placed?All custom orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance. Orders placed less than 2 weeks in advance are accepted at the discretion of THE DESSERT STUDIO. All orders received less than 1 week in advance will be considered a rush order and is subject to a $50 rush fee. Rush orders will only be accepted based on availability. Orders from our Delectable Menu need to be placed 1 week in advance. Orders received less than 1 week in advance will be accepted on a case by case basis and is subject to a $30 rush fee.

If I provide a picture of a cake that I like, can you recreate it?While we prefer to create unique cakes, we are happy to use your image as inspiration while adding our own artistic flair. We believe your event is worth a one of a kind masterpiece for your special occasion!

How much is the deposit to reserve my order?There is a 50% deposit to secure your order. The remaining balance for your order is required to be paid 1 week prior to your delivery/pick-up date. If the final payment deadline is missed, any outstanding balance is subject to a late fee equal to 10% of the total cost of the order.

What is your cancellation policy?If your order is cancelled within 48 hours of booking, we will offer a full refund. Cancellations after 48 hours but within 7 days of booking are subject to a 75% refund. Orders that are cancelled with less than 72 hours of the scheduled date are non-refundable. *In the event that THE DESSERT STUDIO must cancel your order, we will refund the full cost of any monies paid. We also love to take care of our clients here. We will offer a free dozen order of cupcakes from our Delectable Menu for the unforeseen inconvenience on our part.
